Mark Stefanowski, Harley-loving co-founder of Outlaw Yoga joins me, Isabelle Tierney, on episode 5 of the Dare To Be You Podcast for 30 minutes of raw, honest and hilarious conversation. Mark is living proof that yoga is for every body, daring to be himself despite glaringly not fitting the “yoga mold.” We explore how we lose ourselves in codependency and how we find ourselves again as we dare to “politely and lovingly” be ourselves.
Listen in as we discuss:
- How yoga (and life) is for EVERYONE and EVERY BODY
- How our obsession with being liked requires us to play smaller
- How you might have MORE to offer because you don’t “fit the mold”
- What Mark learned from spending Christmas day in jail for a DUI
- The sacredness of practicing yoga in a bar and or Harley repair shop
- The paradox between wanting to be seen and wanting to hide
Mark Stefanowski, is an animal loving, Harley riding, Hell Raiser who has the privilege of teaching yoga. A hard working Midwesterner that now makes his home in the ‘bubble’ of Boulder, CO, Mark is glad to teach yoga anywhere at anytime to anyone. He believes that the practice of yoga should be Powerful, Bold and Fun and challenges you to join him in his Outlaw ways.

A favorite part of my conversation with Mark Stefanowski was when we explored the divine masculine and although I'm not a fan of this book's title, "The Way Of The Superior Man" by David Deida IS an exceptional book about the healthy masculine and healthy feminine.
