Sweigh Emily Spilkin, embodied healer and wise medicine woman, joins me, Isabelle Tierney, in episode 4 of the Dare To Be You podcast. Sweigh and I explore how to let go of our suffering and move into our brilliance. We question whether we need to keep identifying with our wounds in order to most effectively serve our purpose.
Listen in as we discuss:
- Keeping our faith even when everything falls apart
- Honoring our wounds without staying “stuck” in them
- Allowing our trust of “God” to guide us in uncertain times
- The veil between life and death is lifting
- Daring to show our full light can be harder than identifying with suffering
- Addictions, disease, and other “traumas” can be our greatest teachers
Sweigh Emily Spilkin, PhD (cand.) is a Somatic Psychotherapist, a Healer for Healers, and a Threshold Guide. She offers programs and trainings for therapists and healers ready to heal past trauma, claim their soul medicine, and step into the full embodiment of who they really are. She is currently working on her PhD in Somatic Psychology and doing research in the field of Post Traumatic Growth. In her free time (yes, that exists!), Sweigh practices radical self-care, romps in the woods of Boulder, CO where she lives, and spends time with her community of wild, truth-telling friends.
