How is The Body Beloved Philosophy taught?
WORKSHOPS:
The Body
Beloved workshop is the primary tool I use to I teach the Body
Beloved concept, both because it can reach a large audience and
because its largely experiential nature can effect the most change.
The workshop lasts anywhere from 2 hours to all day and target a
variety of groups, including middle and high schools, parents'
groups, businesses, churches, and general audiences.
During the workshops, participants learn to:
- identify the voices which lead them to value their exterior
over their interior.
- recognize and feel the damage that these voices inflict to the
Self on a daily basis.
- move from seeing the Body as a "thing" to be controlled and
manipulated to attain exterior success to seeing it as a
miraculous system that performs perfectly every second of the day.
- develop a partnership with their bodies where both the Self's
needs and the Body's needs are met, a partnership ruled by the
effortlessness of the heart rather than the rigidity of the mind.
Workshops will start up again in January, as I
have just moved to Boulder, Colorado!
GROUPS:
Many of the
workshop participants choose to follow the transformation they
experienced in the workshops by attending regularly-meeting groups.
The groups reinforce and deepen the workshop teachings and further
support the value of seeing and treating our bodies and our Selves
with reverence.
Body Beloved support groups will start forming in
January, in Boulder, Colorado.
INDIVIDUAL
SESSIONS:
When people choose to participate in private
sessions, their work expands to include the benefits of energy
healings, of individualized personal work, and of a variety of tools
and information not available during the workshops due to time
constraints. Additionally, clients get to experience being truly
seen, heard, and supported, an experience many long for but few
get.
Phone sessions also available. Please call (303)
817-6912.
LECTURES, INTERVIEWS,
ARTICLES:
These are the final tools with which the
Body Beloved philosophy can be disseminated. These are primarily
introductions to the work, as the interactive and experiential
aspects of the above tools cannot be included.
The first article regarding the Body Beloved was
written in The North Reading Transcript of November 14th,
2002! |
